for the Arts and the Community will have a Hospitality Tent set up behind the Clopton House to dispense treats — like minimince pies made by the Blue Ridge Bakery & Delicatessen -4- and information.

Old fashioned games for kids, sponsored by the Rappahannock Historical Society, will be held on the lawn of the Historical Society building on Gay Street. I A poinsettia sale will be held by the Trinity Episcopal Church Garden Guild at the town hall on Gay Street. Holiday crafts made by the Rappahannock County 4-H Program will be for sale at the Extension office (above Talk of the Town) and open house will be held at all the shops.

Local artist Geneva Welch has designed hand painted Christmas balls which have scenes from Washington such as The Inn, the courthouse, many local houses and even George Washington. They are for sale at the Gay St. Mercantile and sell for $25 to $33 each.
