I would like to begin by letting
the citizens of Rappahannock county know how wonderful it was for me, George Pullen, to play the part of Santa’s helper last year. I’m also writing because it’s that time of year again and I’m hoping, just maybe, to have another wonderful year.
We, a group of us from Lombardy’s Restaurant, began collecting food and donations of money and toys given by the citizens and businesses of the county. We also held our Christmas party in hopes of collecting more food and toys for the less fortunate in the county. With the help of the wonderful people from this county, I think it was a success.
I do know one thing for certain, it gave me a better feeling than I’ve ever experienced. Sometimes we all get confused and forget the real meaning of Christmas. Whether from the fast moving pace of today’s society or just
