Every year for the past 10 years the Rappahannock Library has hosted the Social Services Giving Tree.
The tree provides an opportunity for the community to give Christmas gifts to needy children. This year there are 25 children who are identified only by age, sex and number.
“Some years there are as many as 50 children, but things must be looking up for people since there are only 25 this year,” said Sarah Brown of Social Services. She began the program when she noticed that Warren County had several programs and there was none in
