Bake at 300 degrees for two hours. Enjoy PEGGY ATKINS Washington Butternut Pound Cake 2 sticks margarine 1/2 cup Crisco 3 cups sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 large eggs 3 cups flour 2/3 cups evaporated milk 1/3 cup water 2 teaspoons butternut flavoring Cream shortening, sugar and salt well. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine milk and water and add alternately with flour to creamed mixture. Add flavoring. Bake in 350 degree oven about one hour, starting in cold oven.
