on’t forget this Saturday, Dec. 6, is the Old
Fashioned Christmas celebration in the Town of
Washington. The celebration has been an annual tradition for many years and is always an exciting daylong event with many activities for all ages to enjoy.
This year is certainly no exception. There are activities beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. For information on what and when check out the Page A1 story. Or better yet, check out the celebration itself on Saturday — no doubt you’ll be glad you did.
Lend a hand
We would be remiss if we didn’t recognize and
commend George Pullen, his family and
friends for the effort they are personally making to give those less fortunate a memorable Christmas. ~ The good will and caring for their fellow man which they are demonstrating is what this holiday is really about. . . We all know the feeling w^ get when we watch our ^children open a present they really love and delight in. It’s even more rewarding to give that gift to those you know can’t afford to give that feeling to their own families.
If you can, help them in their effort to help others.
