Jackson District Supervisor Ron Frazier said if someone wanted to put a chicken, hog or cattle farm there no one would have a problem with that since the land is zoned for agriculture and the supervisors wouldn’t have a thing to say about how much traffic it caused.
Frazier said the real issue was use, not the road. He said it was an opportunity to control what happens on that piece of property especially since the church was willing to make concessions; “I believe if the road was wider we would still have the same opposition.”
