Thanksgiving Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Peyton at Clover Acres were Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Peyton and daughter Kamry of Madison. Saturday afternoon the elder Peytons accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville matored to Luray to attend the Golden Anniversary party for their pastor Elder and Mrs. Wayne Richards, the party being held at Trinity Church near their home.
Elder Richards soon will be completing 32 years as pastor of Black Oak Regular' Baptist Church and others of his church attending the party were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tharp, Mrs. Daisy Lucas, Owen Cubbage, Mrs. Ada Smith, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Dodson and Marc and Mrs. Julia Sisk.
Miss Amanda Sims spent the Thanksgiving holiday with her grandmother Mrs. Hazel Hawkins.
