Oasis has customers world-wide — from Japan, South Africa, South America and Europe — but most are in the U.S. Customers include musicians, record labels, software and data businesses and state governments who want cassette tapes, CDs or CD-ROMs copied and packaged. Oasis duplicates recordings for local musicians Stick’em Up, Trapezoid, Vyktoria Pratt Keating and Tom and Lorraine Espinola.
An innovative package design is the jewel-free box, a foldable cardboard package that allows more space for advertising. It does not fall apart like the plastic jewel boxes that CDs are typically packaged in. Oasis also promotes musicians’ recordings by sending music samplers selected by Solomon to radio stations. Oasis CD samplers are a rich collection of artists’ recordings compiled on two CDs and the sound quality is exceptionally smooth and full.
