You may know that Sharon
Scott of Amissville was terribly injured in a serious traffic accident last week. Unfortunately, Sharon suffered damage to her brain and was partially paralyzed by the accident.
Sharon has been a dedicated volunteer with the Amissville Fire and Rescue Company for more than 10 years. She is an EMS assistant chidf, a cardiac technician, a certified firefighter and a member of the Rappahannock County Fire and Rescue Association. Sharon has willingly responded to emergency calls at any hour of the day or night, in rain, sleet, snow and sunshine in these 10 years. She is always there to help with bingo, fundraising suppers and auctions to keep the fire company going and protect the community. She has come to the rescue of many people over the years.
Her recovery will be a long process, taking many months or perhaps years. She is employed with Culpeper
