William Corbin

William Arnold Corbin, 65, formerly of Culpeper, died on Friday, Feb. 6, at Culpeper Health care Center.
Mr. Corbin was born on June 30, 1932 in Rappahannock County to the late Andrew Clyde Corbin and Maggie N. Corbin.
Mr. Corbin was preceded in death by a sister Virginia Embrey and three brothers Raymond G. Corbin, Hugh Wood Corbin and Robert L. Corbin.
He is survived by five brothers J.C. Corbin and Bernard H. Corbin, both of Culpeper, Frank R. Corbin of Fredericksburg, Charles E. Corbin of Richmond and Irvin W. Corbin of Chase, Mich.; three sisters Lucy M. King of Adelphia, Md., Mary F. Corbin of Reva and Roberta K. Corbin of Culpeper and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 9 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville with the Rev. Mark Jarvis officiating.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Found and Sons Funeral Home of Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
James Bradford
World, War II Veteran
James Williams Bradford, 80, of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly of Flint Hill, died Thursday, Feb. 5 in the Buffalo General Hospital.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial followed in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Bradford was born Nov. 5, 1917 in Flint Hill, son of Charles E. and Ruth Presgraves Bradford.
He was retired from Westinghouse Electric Company in Buffalo.
He was a World War II Navy veteran having served in the Atlantic Theatre and on the Destroyer U.S.S. Moore in the Pacific Theatre.
He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church and was a writer of poetry.
Surviving are three brothers Cecil E. Bradford of Norfolk, Robert T. Bradford of Portsmouth and Harvey L. Bradford of Hagerstown Md.; two nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers were members of the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion.
