Kelly Danielle Nigro of Richmond and Michael Larry Brown Jr. of Washington were married Dec. 13 at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Marguerite Holt Nigro and Charles Kent Nigro of Richmond and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Garland Holt and Mrs. Violet Nigro, of Richmond.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Larry Brown of Washington and the grandson of Mrs. Marvin S. Stickley of Front Royal.

The Rev. Jennings Hobson III of Washington performed the ceremony. Beverly Clarke, of Front Royal Presbyterian Church, was organist and accompanied by John Russell of Winchester, on trumpet. Robyn Abernathy, of Richmond, was the soloist.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a formal gown of silk shantung featuring a scoop neckline and scalloped back. The sleeveless bodice fell into a Basque waistline. The full ballroom skirt and cathedral train were accented with alencon lace, reembroidered with pearls and sequins. A cathedral bridal illusion sprinkled with crystals and waist length illusion fell from a headpiece of silk rosettes and alencon lace.

Dana Leslie DeVault of Willis, Va. was maid of honor.
