And speaking of young lovers, David and Dora Gheen of Amissville celebrated 62 years of wedded bliss on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998. The Gheens have raised seven children, four boys and three girls. They have 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Congratulations to David and Dora and may you be blessed with many more years to come!
This was not a good week for a couple of our Amissville residents. Beth Magee is recovering from minor injuries she received in a car accident at the beginning of the week. Sharon Scott remains in ICU at Fairfax Hospital after an early morning car accident Feb. 4. Our prayers are with both Beth and Sharon as they continue to heal.
