Wakefield’s 1996 student literary magazine Talisman has won the Columbia Scholastic Press Association’s Gold Medalist Certificate given at Columbia University, N.Y., in its annual critique for 1997. This honor marks the 15th award and the second gold medalist certificate that Talisman has earned from the Association since 1983,
