Katherine (Katie) Elizabeth Baldwin enjoyed her first birthday party on Saturday, Feb. 7.
Her parents Richie and Linda Baldwin hosted the party. Those helping Katie celebrate were Raymond (Butch) and Mary Smoot, Danny and Sue Baldwin, Andy Baldwin and Ashleigh, Angie Jenkins, Jason Baldwin, Meghan Fairbrother, Ken, Kelly and Benjamin Estes, Lisa Dodson and Amber, April Grigsby and Amy, Shawn Dodson, Eva Dodson, Ruth and Brittany Clatterbuck, all of Sperryville.
Those from the Washington area joining the celebration were Mary Ann Frazier and Chad, Kenneth Baldwin, Jenna Papp, Mike and Judy Brown and Betsy Murray.

Katie will turn one year old on Friday, Feb. 13.
Sperryville merchants will be celebrating Valentine’s Day and President’s Day with special sales at their shops. Local residents are encouraged to take advantage of the special days which are scheduled for now through Feb. 16, which is President’s Day.
The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have services on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 11:15 a.m. The pastor, Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public to attend.
