store employees and was asked to remain at the store by store personnel until the authorities arrived. Lt. Larry Sherertz of the Rappahannock Sheriff’s Office responded to the call and said there was probable cause to arrest Larochelle for felony concealment and attempted grand larceny. She had concealed three dolls and two dresses which were worth a combined total of $352.
The arrest was made at 2:30 p.m. and Larochelle was arrested, taken before the magistrate and released on a $2,500 personal recognizance bond. The matter will come before Rappahannock Circuit Court on Nov. 3.
In another matter, Deputy Mark Currence responded to a burglary-forced entry call on Oct. 9 at the Blue Moon Cafe in Sperryville. Someone had apparently tried to break into the restaurant through the kitchen door. The screen door to the kitchen had been pushed in and a window was damaged. The investigation into the incident continues.
