Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory, Joseph and Jennifer and Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin, Michael, Crystal and Jacob returned to their homes on Castleton Ford Road over the weekend following a 10 day vacation in Florida visiting in "Kissimme, Daytona Beach, Bayport and the Gulf of Mexico.
This trip was not as enjoyable as previous ones, because of their involvement in an accident with a family from Ohio, who was also on vacation. Their van as well as the Peregorys was totaled, but everyone was more than thankful that no one was hurt seriously.
The Peregory family made the trip back home by way of the train spending a tiresome 17 hours riding while the Heflins returned in their own vehicle.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier and Christopher of Turkey Ridge Road were supper guests Sunday of Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville.
This weekend the Windmore Theater Guild of Griffinsburg will be holding auditions at 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday at the Culpeper Middle School. Call 8925-8286 for information.
It’s not too early to pass on a reminder of the concert to be held at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. This is being held to raise money for the fight against World Hunger.
On Saturday, Oct. 17 beginning at 7 a.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. the Reva Volunteer Fire and Rescue will hold their Fabulous Fall Festival. There will be a yard sale, crafts, music, food and beverages. Call 547-2687 for additional information.
