Conry is associated with the Virginia Bankers Association, Virginia Association of Community Banks, American Bankers Association, Independent Bankers Association of America, as well as a past member of Robert Morris Associates. He has also been active in civic organizations and been a past director of Rotary, United Way, Chamber of Commerce and Lions.
William C. Wiley, chairman of the board, stated that the bank is pleased to have Conry as the CEO with his strong community bank credentials. Wiley also reported that as of Sept. 10, the bank has raised $5 million towards their goal of $7 million from over 1,000 investors.
