After accepting the amendments for the fire and rescue accessory services and agreeing to add a discussion of telecommunications to next month’s agenda, the Rappahannock Planning Commission got down to the business at hand last week — a discussion and review of the zoning chapter of the county code dealing with multiple family dwellings.

County Administrator John McCarthy first pointed out that as it now reads the definition of a duplex is not adequately defined. He said if someone wanted to convert a residential building into two family apartments (in essence a duplex) they . would run into a glitch as the present definition does not allow for that. He told the commission that the definitions should be reworded to
