The Flint Hill Public House was the site of the luncheon meeting on Oct. 13 of the Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, with the hostesses being Mrs. George W. Bryson and Mrs. Robert B. Allen.
The guest speaker was Mrs. H.T.N. Graves, Curator General of the DAR Museum in Washington which was started in 1890 and accredited in 1973 by the National Association of Museums. Much of its collections of quilts of all types, clothing, Revolutionary War artifacts and period rooms is exceptional. The latter are furnished by various states and represent a specific period.
