The Rappahannock Library’s printers for the two new iMac computers are now up and running, reported Library Director David Shaffer to the Library Board at last week’s meeting.
Usage of the computers and specifically the Internet has increased significantly on both stations. Shaffer told the board that he felt the library needs another phone line so that both stations can access the Internet — currently only one can dial in. Another line would run about $32 per month. The Friends of the «2> Library have agreed to pay for the line for the first year. The board approved the request, noting that the cost would have to be worked into the budget after the year is up.
