Big business special interest groups and developers are solidly behind passage of these two constitutional amendments. That’s because they will be able to get these regional governments to do what they want and you’ll have no power to stop them.
The only thing you’ll be able to do is pay their bills with higher taxes and more government debt.
Governor Gilmore, Attorney General Mark Earley, Virginia Isaac Walton League, the Virginia State Conference of the NAACP, Virginia Common Cause and Voters Insisting Government Listen (VIGL) are urging voters to vote No on questions No. 3 and No. 4.
If questions No. 3 and No. 4 are passed you will lose your constitutionally-protected rights to elect your government officials and control government debt.
