As of March 3, 1999, the Blue Moon in Sperryville is under new ownership.

Lauren Parker and Chaz Greene have sold the establishment to George Rosenbaum, an historic building restorer, restaurateur, and sometime musician.

Rosenbaum, who lives in Tiger Valley and The Plains, plans to demonstrate his talents after the” new Moon” opens in mid-April.

The talents demonstrated there will be those of hosting, restaurant management, and serving as Rappahannock’s rock and folk music
