Activities at Ragged Mountain

Saturday, March 13 “Second Saturday Series” of hikes to the headwaters of Rappahannock River watershed tributaries in the Shenandoah National Park. Meet at Mountainside Market on U.S. 211 between 8:30-9 a.m. and bring layered clothing according to the weather of the day and food for self. Back mid-afternoon. Destination: Hazel River area, including bluffs and “cave” by waterfall.

Celebration at Oasis Winery
A St. Patrick’s Day celebration will be held at Oasis Winery on Saturday and Sunday, March 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy authentic live Irish music on stage featuring Neil Foley at the Oasis Winery while tasting the 1998 Gewurztraminer. Child care training session set

Cloverbud camp scheduled
There will be a 4-H Winter Cloverbud camp March 2728 at the Northern Virginia Educational Center in Front Royal.
