Annual Kid’s Day planned
The Rapidan Chapter of TVout Unlimited is planning its annual Kid’s Day ©n the Ro$e River for Saturday, March 20 near Graves Mountain L$$ge. Open house at Wakefield
Wakefield Country Day School at Huntly is holding an open house on Sunday, March 14 from 1 to 3 p.m. Wakefield is a non-sectarian, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, college preparatory day school. Band Boosters to meet
The Rappahannock Band Boosters will meet on March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the high school auditorium. The boosters are also taking citrus fruit orders. Should you wish to place an order call Sally Havstad, 987-9342.
Dance at Amissville
A dance sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company will be held March 20 at the fire hall. Music will be by Cool Water Express. Proper dress is required, no holes in jeans and shirts must have collars.
Easter breakfast scheduled
The Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will sponsor a breakfast and Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 3 from 8 to 11 a.m. The egg hunt will begin at 11:15 a.m.
Breakfast items will include scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy, biscuits, pancakes, potatoes and muffins. For more information call Thora Pullen at 987-9339.
