Some Blue Moon improvements are directed toward the musicians — -a sound booth is planned that will control a new house PA system, as well as stage lighting — which will be operated by Smiggy Smith of Spider Mountain Studios.
The stage itself will be enlarged, and a new “blue room” will accommodate evening acts before and between sets.
Chaz the chef
Food will continue to be the responsibility of Chaz Greene, who will stay on as the Blue Moon’s chef.
Chaz has made a name for himself in the kitchens of a number of Washington metro-area establishments, and Rosenbaum says that he is truly looking forward to working with Chaz and to watching him work.
The restaurant’s offerings will be similar to the simple and hearty fare previously offered: salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, fries, pizza, and a few special entrees. ;
