All primary business operations were being replaced, Hodges said, with software updated and computers replaced.
“Contrary to the federal government, the national power grid is in very good shape since a majority is analog (not computerized),” he said.
“The biggest fear of the power company is that on Jan. 1, 2000 we’ll have an ice storm, and people will blame a power failure on Y2K, not Mother Nature.”
