Members recently inducted into the National Honor Society at Rappahannock County High School were Martha Louise O’Bannon, Lois Evelyn Yates, Christine Elaine Fox, Gary Gordon Thornhill Jr., David Morrow Cordle and Edward Everett Clark. Tb be eligible for membership in the Honor Society a student must maintain an overall B average in school work. Other qualities for consideration are character, leadership and service. The office of the Dean of Students at the University of Virginia has announced that Page Moffett, son of Judge and Mrs. W.F. Moffett Jr. of Washington will be a recipient of Intermediate Honors at the Founder’s Day ceremonies. This high academic award is given for excellence in studies during the first two years of attendance in one of the undergraduate Schools of the University. The Senior Class of Rappahannock County High School will be sponsoring two bake sales on Saturday, March 22. One will be held in Culpeper in front of Leggett’s Department Store, the other in Front Royal in front of the Drug Fair.
