The Band Boosters are sponsoring their second citrus fruit sale. Orders are being taken for Valencia oranges and red grapefruit. Place your order with any band member or call RCES, 987-8259 or RCHS, 9878675; leave your name and phone number for Mrs. Fournier, our Band teacher. Someone will get back in touch to take your order. Sale profits will help pay for band instruments purchased this year.
• Kenny Marotta, Artist in Residence, is back at RCES and helping fifth through seventh graders with poetry skills. He is here thanks to a Virginia Commission for the Arts grant obtained through the efforts of Amy Gubler, gifted and talented teacher, with help from many others.
• There are still RCES student calendars available for sale. Because of the late date, they are on sale for just $5 each. The incredible student art work and poetry make this calendar a “must buy." Stop by the RCES office to get your copy.
