Clyde Pullen Home: Washington Occupation: Electrician/Plumber Accomplishments: Clyde Pullen was born at the Old Keyser homeplace in Gid Brown Hollow and grew up in Rappahannock County. He attended Rappahannock schools and worked on the family farm in the orchard business. , Following several jobs outside the county as a electrician and plumber, Mr. Pullen decided to start his own business within the county in the 1980’s. Today, he is a master electrician and plumber and serves Rappahannock County. He also specializes in a Water Treatment service. In addition to his business, Mr. Pullen is an avid hunter who respects law and regulation according to county, state and national codes. His most recent trip was one to British Columbia where he was successful in obtaining a mountain goat. In 1999 he lost two role models from his life, first his father, Clyde W. Pullen and then his father-inlaw, John M. Clark. He takes tremendous pride in his familyt has one daughter; is “PaPa” to Sean Michael Knick and “Popples” to Tiffany Wayland. Mr. Pullen and his wife, Betty are also owners of Attic Treasures near Sperryville. The couple recently returned from an Alaskan cruise. They also enjoy antiquing.
