On Sunday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m., Virginia Commonwealth University faculty members, Robert Murray and Dr. Ardyth Lohuis will perform an organ/violin concert at the Front Royal Presbyterian Church.

This duo was formed in 1983 to preform original music and selected transcriptions for violin and organ. They have premiered several works by American composers and also given the American premieres a number of works by 20th century Russian, Polish, and East European composers.

The Duo’s three recordings for the Raven label have earned critical accolades from reviewers. Beginning with the 1990-91 season, the Virginia Commission for the Arts included the Duo on its tourijig artists roster, enabling them to reach new audiences.

The public is invited.
