Friday night Dan and Bessie Norman, Richard, Rena, Die, Michele and Walter Milton Burke were among those attending a birthday party for Leslie Norman which was held at the Washington fire hall. Leslie’s parents, John and Nina Norman, hosted the celebration in honor of her 21st birthday. Leslie received many nice gifts.
She was toasted for her achievements during and since her graduation from Rappahannock High School in 1996. Leslie was among the top students in her graduating class and received enough scholarships to pay her tuition at Lord Fairfax Community College for two years. She currently attends James Madison University in Harrisonburg, commuting daily from Rappahannock.
