• Wednesday, Jan. 19, the Rappahannock County Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse. New agenda items include: Jenkins Mountain A-F District Withdrawal; Haskell A-F District Tag-on; Babcock/GOMO Land Trust Professional Office; Henze Cottage Industry; Gillis Residential Care Facility and a work session for: Village issues and Variance/setback concern (in village areas).

• Thursday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. the Rappahannock County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at the courthouse. Election of Officers for 2000 will be conducted by Zoning Administrator; meeting dates and times will be determined. New business items include: Special use, Babcock/GOMO Land Trust Professional Office and special use for Henze Cottage Industry.

• Monday, Feb. 7, the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors will meet at 2 and 7 p.m. in the courthouse.

• Tuesday, Feb. 8, the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m.

• Wednesday, Feb. 9, the Washington Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall.
