Baylor celebrated her 93rd on Monday. Miss Krystal Heflin added another year on Sunday.

This Friday, Jan 21 beginning at 7 p.m. is the time for another “Singing and Pickin” party at the Salem Fire Hall on Route 522. As always food and beverages will be on sale by the fire department. So please come out and offer your support to the company.

For a real good oyster and steak supper the public is invited to the Madison Rescue Squad building on Saturday Jan. 29 from 4 until 8 p.m. The supper is prepared by the Etlan Methodist men and as reported form past suppers, you are in for a great meal.

Parents of children in our area who attend Rappahannock County Schools are reminded that Jan. 27 and 28 will be Parent Teacher Conference and staff training days, which means no school for your young ones.
