AACA’s input to the Planning Commission could have significant impact upon the county’s future. Amissville and the Jackson District serve not only as the eastern gateway to Rappahannock, but as its first line of defense against the unfettered development that characterizes our neighboring counties, and that is proscribed by the Rappahannock County Comprehensive Plan.
The AACA’s newly elected officers— Chairperson Steve Miller, Vice Chairperson Rick Kohler, Secretary Hal Hunter, Treasurer Margaret Strauser, and Parliamentarian Glenn Hoffher— and the Association’s membership have a heady agenda and responsibility.
