She was bom March. 5, 1918, in Goshen, Va., to the late Thomas Lair and Gertrude Cooper Lair. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther B. Farley Sr. and a son, * Luther (Luke) B. Farley Jr.

Survivors include one son, Thomas Charles Farley of Ashland; three daughters, Barbara Farley of Rixeyville, Deborah Farley-Clapp of Falls Church and Lynda Farley Clem of Amissville; one sister, Drew Greene of Covington; 12 grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter and one greatgrandson.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at Clore-English Funeral Home in Culpeper with Dr. Horace Douty officiating. Interment was in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery.
