Jane Schwertfeger, 84, of Warrenton, formerly of Gore, died Wednesday, Jan. 12 at Warrenton Overlook Health Care Center.
A graveside service was conducted on Friday, Jan. 14 at Timber Ridge Church Cemetery in High View, W.Va. by the Rev. Gregory R. Kenney.
Mrs. Schwertfeger was born Dec. 25, 1915 in Savanna, 111., daughter of the late George and Catherine Poffenberger Welch. She was the wife of the late Theron “T.B. Schwertfeger.
Surviving are three sons, Dale L. Schwertfeger of Chester Gap, James B. Schwertfeger of Del Rio, Texas and Jay P. Schwertfeger of Warrenton and four grandchildren.
Giffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge, W.Va. was in charge of the arrangements.
