The Rappahannock County Building Office reports for the period running Nov. 22 through Dec. 21 the following permits were issued. For the month, the office issued ten new home ’ permits, four addition/remodel/renovatio n and one new shed/bam/garage permit. Misc. permits included: one foundation permit, one permit to demo existing dwelling, two permits to replace shingles, one permit to replace a roof and nine renewal permits., The Building Office also,' reviewed 16 sets of plans; had 169 scheduled inspections; nine walk-in consultations and seven scheduled consultations. The year to date totals for 1999 were: New Home Construction, 70 and Commercial Buildings, 4. Compared to last year’s total of New Home 50 and Commercial Buildings 3.
