Jazz coming to theatre

The widely acclaimed young jazz pianist Bill Charlap opens the nevr season for The Theatre at Washington with a concert on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 3 p.m. Born and raised in New York City, he is the son of Broadway composer Moose Charlap (“Peter Pan”) and singer Sandy Steward who worked with Benny Goodman, and he has been playing the piano for as long as he can remember. Jazz has proven to be especially popular tn Little Washington and reservations are recommended for Bill Charlap’s concert at The Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 23 at 3.
