This last task, the preparation of an Amissville/Jackson District “annex” to the County’s Comprehensive Plan, is indicative of the level of responsibility that the AACA has shouldered, and of the importance of its activities to the county at large. The Association will work to support Rappahannock County by developing, on a voluntary basis, a detailed plan for the Jackson District’s future that conforms to the Comprehensive Plan precepts, and will provide this to the Planning Commission for their review and consideration.
