Our fourth annual “Shop with a Deputy” program was an
incredible jsuccess! This event has grown each year, involving more and more children.
This year we were able to make Christmas much brighter for 45 children and food boxes were provided for 30 families. The interaction between the children and the law enforcement officers was truly heartwarming.
While we were having a delicious breakfast with the kids, , dozens of volunteers were busy wrapping the presents the children had chosen. Winter coats, shirts, pants, and shoes were the prevailing items. In the true spirit of Christmas, most of the children purchased presents for their family members.
