Spring soccer
registration set
The Rappahannock County Soccer League announces that spring soccer registration will start in January. There will be on-site registration at the Rappahannock County Library on Jan. 22 and Feb. 5 from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The registrar will be at the library to take registrations. Registration fees are $35 for the first child and $30 for each additional child. Scholarships are available. New players must bring a copy of their birth certificate. Registration forms are currently available at the main office of RCES and the county library. Feel free to call the Registrar, Sara Lawrey at 675-1781 with any questions you may have.
Kick-off meeting
slated for Jan. 25
The kick-off meeting for this year’s Relay for Life will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Flint Hill fire hall. Team captains and prospective captains will find this meeting very useful according to Mrs. Ester Settle, one of the relay’s principle organizers. For more information call Mrs. Settle at 675-3252.
