Gangel’s report

In addition to presenting his proposals for teacher salary increases, Dr. Gangel reported that there will be an SOL test review on May 30 at 3:30 p.m. for school staff, School Board members, and for parents. This is an opportunity to see the SOL tests that the students have just taken, and a chance to better understand the State standards and the testing process.

Dr. Gangel also requested that early release for students be granted for exam weekJune 12 through 14 and the board voted to approve student release at 2 p.m. Competition success
