Captain Jeff Brown, DARE Officer and School Resource Officer all deserve special recognition.
• The RCHS Senior Banquet is in the process of being planned by a Parent Committee chaired (most efficiently) by Mrs. Mel Paratore, and our RCHS Staff. As more information on this special evening for our graduating seniors unfolds we will pass it on.
• DARE Day at RCES is scheduled for Friday, May 26, and, as usual, we are in dire need of volunteers for the event. Captain Jeff Brown has worked tirelessly to plan the event and invite a multitude of exhibitors, but the real challenge comes in setting up and helping to run the exhibits and concessions! Please sign up today to volunteer. The actual event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., but we also need assistance the day before marking spaces and setting up tents. We only ask for a time commitment of one to two hours, but this will insure the success of this wonderful community event. Are you aged 18-88? Great! We appreciate your, help. Also, if you have children up to age five please plan to. visit the “Central Courtyard and Butterfly Garden” at RCES on DARE Day. There will be many agencies and teachers on hand to answers questions that you may have about your pre-school agedi child. There are many services available to pre-schoolers and their parents that often appear to be “well kept secrets.” Please help us spread the word to others in the community that might be able to use this information.
