Hackley’s Pickin’ Party was a success. According to reports, approximately 100 people attend. The 4-H sold $210 worth of 50/50 tickets and split that with Mrs. Juanita Settle. Mrs. Settle also sang a tune along wiih Jeff Light of Woodville. The 4H also sang and did stand-up comedy; some of them might have a career already. The next party will be on June 17 at 6 p.m. Hope to see you there.
Don’t forget Hackley’s will be open this Sunday at 11 a.m.
The AACA monthly meeting will be held at the Amissville Fire Hall on Thursday, May 11 at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome. There will be a presentation by Art Candenquist on the Civil War History of Amissville.
