Mary Helen Williams Underwood, 48, of Frederick, Md. died Wednesday, May 3 at Crumland Farms in Frederick.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, May 5 at the Stauffer Funeral Home in Frederick by the Rev. John Johnson. Burial was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
Mrs. Underwood was born May 12,1951 in Front Royal, a daughter of Annie V. Mahoney Williams Walters of Strasburg and the late Noah S. Williams.
She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church of Gaithersburg, Md., serving as a Sunday School teacher. She was involved with the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Strasburg and Westminster, Md.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, James Alfred Underwood Sr.; two daughters, Victoria Hudak of Frederick and Melissa Dowler of Hagerstown, Md.; two stepsons, James Underwood Jr. of Walkersville, Md. and Larry Underwood of Frederick; four brothers,
