Extravaganza set for May 13
The Rappahannock Senior Citizens are hosting a Mother’s Day Extravaganza on Saturday, May 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy crafts, vendors, food, yard sales, cake walk and live bands all day. There will be an auction at 2 p.m. and various drawings at 2:45 p.m. The fun-filled event will be held at the Senior site on Mt. Salem Avenue in Washington. In case of rain, the event will move inside.
Gateway Committee to meet
The Sperryville Gateway Committee will hold a public meeting on Thursday, May 18 at 7 p.m. at the Sperryville fire hall to get a first look at the winning proposal by The Cox Company to improve Main Street in Sperryville and the Thornton River corridor.
