4-H Program Support

Rappahannock County 4Her’s performed and presented well at the 2000 Northern District competition in Culpeper on Saturday, April 29.
The results of the competition are as follows: Josh Makela placed first with his [speech on “My First Family •Vacation.”
Caroline Massie placed [second with her presentation on: “How to Groom a Horse.” [ In the dance competition, [Rachel Patterson, Rebecca •Oyster, Kate Krusynski, Anna 'Kreyling and Emma Clough [placed second.
In vocal, Caroline Massie [and Morgan Flournoy placed [second in the junior category. •Robin Oyster and Brienna [Moineau placed first in the [intermediate vocal category. ■ Ruth Ann Oyster and [Jessica Manak placed first in "the senior vocal category and will represent Rappahannock County at the state competition in June at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg.
Mark Williams, Ben Price and Houston Haynes placed first in the senior variety category and will also enter the state competition.
We are very proud of the accomplishments of these 4-H members.
