RAAC will present “Being John Malkovich” on Friday, May 19 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre on Gay Street. Note date is May 19, not May 12 as previously announced.
“Being John Malkovich”is ingenious, different, beautifully directed and acted, and also very, very funny. The story is a surreal but is never slapstick. Laughs come when they should.
The idea of the 7 1/2 th floor (no 7th or 8th) makes the ceilings necessarily low; (“saves overhead”) is a stroke of genius.
