The Theatre at Washington, will present a unique concert of folk music from the British Isles during ihe Memorial Day Holiday weekend. Two English born musicians, the Soprano Amanda Balestieri and pianist Victoria Hartung, will perform traditional British folk music of the kind which has been handed down through the generations, since as far back as the Elizabethan era.
The concert will take place on Saturday, May 26 at 8 p.m. _ Music for this recital ranges from simple unaccompanied folk songs, to arrangements for piano and voice, some solo piano music, and sophisticated ‘art’ songs.
