The Rappahannock County Garden Club is sponsoring a . Standard Flower Show entitled “In this Delightful Garden . Grows” on Saturday, May 19 at the home of Bruce and Susan Jones on Long Mountain Road.
The show will feature nine classes of design, 36 classes of horticulture and special exhibits of native wildflowers, shrubs ' and grasses and a demonstration of how to develop a bluebird trail. Open House at Belle Meade

Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company is now seeking contestants for their annual Carnival Queen, ages 1320; Jr. Miss, ages 8 to 12: Little Miss, ages 3 to 7 and Little Mister, ages 3 to 7.
